Título | From Carpathian Mountains to Paraná: The acculturation over Ukrainian written eggs |
Resumo | This paper presents one of the most important examples of the cultural richness of the Ukrainian Immigration Legacy in Brazil: the Art of Pysanky. The general objective is analyzing how was the process of sociocultural interaction on this art in Brazil, having as the focus what happened in Paraná. For this purpose, the text describes this visual art origins with its historical and religious context. Thus, there will be brought some innovations that were made by Ukrainian Community in Paraná. Considering the concept of acculturation and the State of Knowledge in regard the theme, the text underlines the further developing of this art in the Brazilian land, pointing his development as an aspect of the Brazilian Cultural Diversity in the South of Brazil. It was raised the following problem: How did the pysanky, an Ukrainian Art, become part of Brazilian Cultural Diversity? The hypothesis is that it occured by the own acculturation. A bibliographic revision combined with oral history must be used to verify it. |
